Big Cat Poker Run Safety Rules and Policies
We want every participant to enjoy their time out on the Big Cat Poker Run. This is in no way a race or timed event. So please relax enjoy your day, respect the rights of non participants out on the water and please follow our simple rules below.
Ø All participants must register and sign our liability waiver
Ø All participants must wear life vests while underway
Ø All drivers must abstain from alcohol use
Ø All drivers must wear safety lanyards when available.
Ø All drivers must attend the drivers meeting
Ø All boats must follow all applicable state and federal boating laws.
Ø All boats must be insured
Ø Big Cat Poker Run reserves the right to refuse entry to any boat or participant
Ø Any participant may be removed during the run if deemed a danger to oneself or others
Ø A speed limit of 45 mph is enforce south of the Orwood Railroad Bridge and the associated railway
Ø All boats must stay in a single file while in narrow channels south of the San Joaquin River

While we all know 911 emergency, if you call 911 using a cell phone you will be routed to one of two 911 dispatches in California, where you can be place on hold for up to 20 minutes. If you have an emergency please use the emergency sheriff number below.
